An online meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Microbiology of ANAS was held.
First, the memory of the martyrs of the Great Patriotic War was commemorated with a minute of silence.
The annual reports on the scientific and scientific-organizational activities of 3 departments and 7 laboratories of the organization in 2020 were heard at the meeting chaired by the acting director of the enterprise, corresponding member of ANAS Panah Muradov.
Opening the event, P.Muradov said that the scientific institution based its activities on the decrees and orders of the President, state programs, as well as the decisions of the General Meeting of ANAS and the Presidium of the Academy. The scientist spoke about research in relevant areas, as well as scientific and organizational work. Muradov noted that despite the coronavirus pandemic, the company's employees carried out their activities in accordance with the plan and conducted research on several economic contracts.
Then the reports of the heads of departments and laboratories were heard, the results of the research work, their scientific and practical significance were given, questions were answered.
P.Muradov conveyed relevant instructions and recommendations to the heads of departments to further improve scientific activity.
In the end, it was decided to adopt the reports unanimously.
