The book dubbed "Biocluster complexes for solving ecological, social and industrial problems" co-authored by employees of the Institute of Microbiology of ANAS - Professor Nariman Ismayilov, Doctor of Biological Sciences Samira Najafova and PhD in Biology Aygun Gasimova, was published in Russia.

The book is dedicated to ways to preserve the unity of environmental, socio-economic factors that are the main task of modern development of society in the life of people and the comprehensive improvement of their living environment.

The publication provides an overview of the state of the environment in Azerbaijan and considers future development plans for the area. Prospects for the use of biotechnology for integrated environmental protection are presented. From this point of view, the scientific basis of integrated production systems - bioclusters - has been developed to solve the ecological, socio-economic problems of Azerbaijan. Closed biotechnology cycle bioclusters provide for the efficient use of regional resources, so that the focused end result is of high practical importance. Microbiological, biochemical and technological processes form the basis of all developed biotechnologies.

The aid is intended for students studying in the field of environmental protection, application of environmental technologies, as well as specialized specialists.
