Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of ANAS Institute of Microbiology has held a commemorative event in connection with March 31 - Day of the Genocide of the Azerbaijanis, on topic "We did not forget the March 31 genocide".
The event has commenced with the commemoration of the victims of the genocide with a moment of silence.
The General Director of the institute, corresponding member of ANAS Panah Muradov spoke at the event and drew attention to the historical factors related to the genocides that Armenians have committed against Azerbaijanis in various periods. He emphasized the necessity of delivering the truths of bloody deeds of our abominable neighbours to the global society: “The greatest teacher is history, time. If you don't take lessons from him, it will be unrelenting”, he added.
Then, the chief of Council, Almaz Həsənova talked about the tragedy of the genocide and its painful consequences. Young people should perform a public demonstration in recognition of the genocide through the world, she stated.
