The next meeting of the Working Group on Environmental Issues of the Inter-Departmental Center operating under the Coordinating Headquarters established for the centralized resolution of issues in the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was held. Representatives of relevant state institutions represented in the Working Group participated in the meeting.
To the members of the Working Group, a complex was carried out in September, including the monitoring carried out in the liberated regions for the purpose of assessing the ecological situation, including the calculation of the damage to the forest and green areas in the area of Lachin city, Zabuch and Sus villages, studying the radioecological situation, taking samples of water and bottom sediments in rivers. Information was provided on monitoring, inspection and assessment of ore and non-ore mineral raw materials deposits in Lachin and Kalbajar regions, automatic hydrological stations installed for the purpose of assessing water resources in areas freed from occupation, assessment of forest areas using remote sensing method....
