The scientific conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Heydar Aliyev, the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, was held at the Scientific Research Institute of Fruit and Tea Cultivation of the Ministry of Agriculture in Guba region on the topic "Development of agriculture in innovative ways and environmental problems in Azerbaijan".
The event was organized by the Agrarian Innovation Center in Zardabi settlement, the Ecology Institute of the National Aerospace Agency of the Ministry of Defense Industry and the Fruit and Tea Cultivation Scientific Research Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture.
The conference was participated by General Director of the Institute of Microbiology of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, corresponding member of ANAS, prof. Panah Muradov and head of the Microbiological Biotechnology Laboratory, Ph.D., prof. Konul Bakhshaliyeva.
At the event, K. Bakhshaliyeva delivered a speech entitled "Some fungi that cause disease in fruits". In her report, the scientist gave detailed information about the fungi that cause diseases in plants, as well as the fungi that are the producers of mycotoxins, mainly aflatoxin, and brought to the attention of the conference participants the damage of these mycotoxins to the human body.
At the end of the conference, a memorandum on joint cooperation between the institutions was signed.
