On May 20-21, 2021, with the organizational support of the Department of Biological and Medical Sciences of ANAS, will hold an online conference on "Biodiversity of Karabakh, soil and water resources: past, present, and future."


The conference will cover the following areas:


- Diversity of flora and fauna of Karabakh: the situation before the occupation and the current situation;
- Medicinal plants of Karabakh;
- Forest and pastoral ecosystems of liberated territories;
- Red lists of Karabakh, issues of introduction and reintroduction;
- Protected territories of the Karabakh zone, current status, and prospects;
- Microbiological diversity of Karabakh;
- Karabakh ecosystems under the influence of anthropogenic factors and climate change;
- Issues of restoration, protection, and effective use of biodiversity of Karabakh;
- Biotechnological approaches to the restoration and use of biodiversity in Karabakh;
- Problems of soil resources, restoration, and improvement of Karabakh;
- Water resources of Karabakh, exploration, restoration, and effective use;
- Restoration and development of agriculture in the liberated territories;
- Genetic resources and food security of the Karabakh zone;
- Development of aquatic diversity and aquaculture in liberated territories;
- Gerontological study of the population of Karabakh;
- Biosafety issues in the liberated territories;
- Ecotourism and biodiversity;
- Green economy.

In the section "The subject of the electronic letter" it is necessary to mark "KARABAKH - conference". Abstracts should be written in Word A4 format, Arial 12 pt (field: 2 cm with each side), single line spacing on 1 page.


Title of the article - in bold letters, in bold (black) font, in the next line of the names and surnames of the authors of the article - in an ordinary font. It is necessary to indicate the place of work of each author, the e-mail address of the author-correspondent. After the omission of a single line of the main text of the paragraph begins with the usual font.
