On May 20-21, 2021, an online conference on the topic "Biodiversity, soil and water resources of Karabakh: past, present, and future" will be held under the organization of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan.

At the plenary session, which will be held after the opening, the lectures will be listened to the Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a leading researcher of the Institute of Botany of ANAS, Ph.D. in Biology, Associate Professor Vugar Karimov on the topic "Ecological terrorism and ecological aspects of the great return in the occupied territories", Deputy Minister of Agriculture Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Elchin Zeynalov on "Restoration and development of agriculture in the liberated territories", General Director of the Scientific and Production Association "Hydromechanics and Melioration" of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Aghamir Hashimov on "Soil and water resources in the liberated territories , socio-economic and ecological foundations of their effective use ", Advisor to the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematics Javid Abdullayev on Concept "Green energy zone" for the liberated territories as a tool for preserving biodiversity ", head of the Azerbaijan office of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), a researcher at the Institute of Zoology of ANAS Elshad Asgarov on "Biodiversity of the fauna of the liberated territories of Azerbaijan and the possibility of its restoration ", and head of the department of the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology ANAS Dr. Philosophy, Professor Rena Mirzazadeh on "Protection of biodiversity: political, legal and cultural-ethical approaches."
