June 10, 2021 Acting Director of the Institute of Microbiology of ANAS, corresponding member of ANAS Panah Muradov held an official meeting with the director of the Scientific Research Institute of Animal Husbandry of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ph.D. in Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor Mahir Hajiyev. The purpose of the visit was to sign an agreement on cooperation in the field of staff training and scientific research between the two scientific institutions. During the meeting, M. Hajiyev got acquainted with the laboratories and discussed further joint activities. Under the terms of the agreement, the Research Institute of Livestock and the Institute of Microbiology will work together to coordinate research on topics of mutual interest and innovations in the relevant fields of biological and agricultural sciences.

Within the framework of scientific research, visits to experimental sites are provided, including the development of important economic proposals and their application in production, the achievement of high productivity, appropriate quality indicators in the agricultural sector, the purchase of disease-resistant plant varieties to ensure the development and implementation of a comprehensive program of measures to combat with diseases.

During the meeting, the implementation of relevant measures between the Research Institute of Animal Husbandry and the Institute of Microbiology on the application of important results in production, the organization of joint meetings of leading specialists and young scientists, joint participation in international and local projects, programs, the exchange of scientific and technical information were discussed.

At the end of the meeting, acting Director of the Institute of Microbiology of ANAS, corresponding member of ANAS Panah Muradov and Director of the Research Institute of Animal Husbandry of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ph.D. in Agrarian Sciences, Associate Professor Mahir Hajiyev signed a cooperation agreement.
