On May 31, 2021, the next online meeting of the FD 1.07 Dissertation Council operating under the Institute of Microbiology of ANAS was managed by Academician M.A. Salmanov. The dissertation of Aliyeva Basti Nizami gizi on "Biotechnological potential of edible species of xylotrophic macromycetes distributed in the southern region of Azerbaijan" for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Biology, in specialty 2430.01 - "Mycology" has been listened at the meeting.
The submitted research work is devoted to a comprehensive study of edible species of basil fungi distributed in the southern region of Azerbaijan, as well as in other ecologically different areas, according to the species composition, frequency of occurrence, as well as the amount of fruit formed naturally, biotechnological parameters of vegetative mycelium.
The dissertation work was positively evaluated by the members of the council by secret and open voting, and a petition was submitted to the Supreme Attestation Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan for Basti Aliyeva to receive the degree of Ph.D. in Biology.
