Fidan Gasimova, a graduate of School Lyceum Complex No. 43 and a first-year student of the University of Waterloo, Canada, who conducts research under the guidance of Aygun Gasimova, a researcher at the Laboratory of Soil Microbiology of the Institute of Microbiology of ANAS, has participated in an III All-Republican scientific-creative competition of youth dubbed "Have an Idea!".
F.Gasimova's project entitled "Integrated methods of increasing oil production, along with biological treatment of wastewater in the strata of degraded oil fields" in nominee of “Ecology, Environment and Rational Use of Nature. The project "Innovations in medicine and health" was awarded the first degree diploma and award.
Note that this project, relied on the use of biological methods, can be important in solving a global problem such as wastewater disposal, as well as increasing oil production.
