On March 29-30, 2022, the Republican scientific-practical conference on "New trends and innovations: Prospects for the development of Microbiology in Azerbaijan" will be organized by the Department of Biological and Medical Sciences of ANAS and the Institute of Microbiology.
The event is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Institute of Microbiology and the 90th anniversary of Academician Mammad Salmanov.
The conference will embrace a plenary report and section speeches, on the basis of which will be published in bulk. Materials to be included in the collection should be sent to the e-mail address This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by March 10, 2022. The conference, reports and speeches will be in Azerbaijani, and the materials submitted for publication will be in Turkish, English and Russian.
Materials can be sent to participate in the conference in the following areas:
- Ecological, physiological-biochemical and biotechnological aspects of the diversity of fungal and bacterial biota of different biotopes;
- Microorganisms - as a producer of biologically active substances;
- Biosafety and microbiological aspects of its maintenance in modern times.
Materials submitted to the conference should be prepared as follows:
- Edge spaces on each side 2 cm, font Times New Roman, 12 pt, line spacing 1 cm;
- The name is given in capital and dark black letters;
- Keywords consisting of 3-5 words;
- The volume of the submitted material should be between 1-5 pages (A4).
References may also be provided while writing materials. In this case, it is expedient to use the rules provided by the Higher Attestation Commission during the preparation of dissertations. Proceedings of the conference will be published in bulk and no fees are required from the authors. One copy of each material will be given to the author or authors.
