Fourth-year students of Baku State University (BSU) and Sumgayit State University (SSU) Faculty of Biology have an internship at the Institute of Microbiology of ANAS.
The probation has realized under a cooperation agreement signed between the Institute of Microbiology and BSU and SSU.
Before the acquaintance day, the students were informed about the structure of the scientific institution, history of its establishment, main activities, scientific activity of the laboratories of the institute, and international ties.
During the probation in the laboratories, students will be able to apply the theoretical knowledge in real working conditions by conducting research with the researchers of the institution, according to the program developed for them.
Director General of the Institute, corresponding member of ANAS Panah Muradov visited the laboratories of the institution, inquired about the progress of students' internships and gave their recommendations after getting acquainted with their internship diaries.
Noted that the probation, beginning from February 16, will run until March 14 for students of BSU, and until May 25 for students of SSU.
