On May 26, Acting President of ANAS, Academician Arif Hashimov met with the President of the Turkish Academy of Sciences, Professor Muzaffar Sheker, who is visiting Azerbaijan as part of the Festival of Aviation, Space and Technology "Teknofest Azerbaijan".
The meeting was attended by Vice-Presidents of ANAS - Academicians Isa Habibbeyli, Irada Huseynova, Head of the Scientific and Organizational Department of the Presidium of ANAS, PhD in Physics, Associate Professor Rustam Rustamov, Head of the International Department of Philosophy, PhD in Philology Aghahusein Shukurov.
Speaking at the event, Academician Arif Hashimov welcomed the guest and said that he was glad to see him at the National Academy of Sciences. He noted that the friendly and fraternal Turkish Republic in recent years has achieved great success in new technologies and military industry, and now many countries of the world are trying to transfer experience to Turkey in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles. Expressing pride in the success of the fraternal country, Academician Arif Hashimov spoke about the prospects of cooperation between ANAS and the Turkish Academy of Sciences in the field of technology.
