A new monograph dubbed “Study of the ecological and biological characteristics of fungi belonging to the genus Ganoderma Karst, common in Azerbaijan” by the head of the Laboratory of Phytopathogenic Microorganisms and Biological Control of the Institute of Microbiology of ANAS, Ph.D. in Biology, Gunel Gasimova, has been published.
The scientific editor of the book, published by the decision of the Academic Council of the Institute of Microbiology, is the corresponding member of ANAS Panah Muradov, and the reviewers are associate professors Konul Bakhshaliyeva and Irada Babayeva.
The monograph is devoted to the distribution, research and study of species of the genus Ganoderma in forest ecosystems located in ecologically different regions of Azerbaijan. The monograph may be useful to researchers working in the field of mycology, microbiology, as well as relevant specialists with higher education.
