The new monograph entitled "Toxigenic mycobiota of Azerbaijan: species composition, ecobiological characteristics" by Konul Bakhshaliyeva, Assoc. Prof, head of the Microbiological Biotechnology Laboratory of the Institute of Microbiology, has been published.

The scientific editor of the book is Panah Muradov, General Director of the Institute of Microbiology, corresponding member of ANAS, Academician Mammad Salmanov, reviewers - Professors Farayat Ahmadova and Guler Seyidova.

The monograph was prepared on the basis of the results obtained during the study of the ecological characteristics of toxigenic mushrooms that have been the focus of researchers in recent times, as well as their species distributed in Azerbaijan.

The book contains interesting information for microbiologists, mycologists, and ecologists about the types of toxigenic mushrooms that are distributed in Azerbaijan, the ecobiological characteristics of the recorded species, as well as the means that limit the activity of these mushrooms.
