The book "Impact of Urbanization on the Self-Cleaning Ability of Baku Urban Soils" was published
The leading researcher of the Soil Microbiology Laboratory of the Institute of Microbiology of the Ministry of Science and Education Ph.D Aygun Gasimova's monograph entitled "Impact of Urbanization on the Self-Cleaning Ability of Baku City Soils (in the example of Yasamal region)" was published.
The book is devoted to the study of the impact of urbanization on urban land.
The monograph contains information on the assessment of the impact of pollutants on microbiological and biochemical indicators reflecting the biogenicity of urban soils. The importance of the possibilities of using secondary resources for the purpose of directional management of the soil cover's self-cleaning ability has been shown.
The book is intended for specialists engaged in scientific activity in the field of microbiology, soil science and ecology, as well as for use as a scientific resource in environmental protection measures.
