June 20-21, 2024, jointly organized by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences of , Institute of Microbiology of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Odlar Yurdu University, North Kazakhstan State University named after Manash Kozybayev (NKSU), Institute of Botany and Phytointroduction of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and science of Kazakhstan, the Institute of Dendrology will host an international conference on the topic “The Impact of Global Climate Change on the Ecological Environment.”

The conference is being held in connection with the declaration of 2024 as the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World” by the relevant Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in order to properly use the biological resources of the soil and preserve vegetation as an important resource for future generations. The main goal is to scientifically study the impact of climate change, protect the gene pool of forest areas, enrich biodiversity, protect the environment, evaluate rare and endangered species, correctly and effectively use natural resources and conduct scientific research at the international level on their restoration.

The conference will be organized in the following sections: Global climate change and biodiversity, Modern environmental aspects of molecular biology, The impact of climate change on natural water bodies and soils, The influence of anthropogenic factors on natural populations, Modern aspects of urban and rural landscape design, Modern pest populations and methods of control them, The role of modern technologies in protecting biodiversity, Artificial intelligence, Economic efficiency of industrially important plants, Restoration of rare and endangered plant species using biotechnological methods, Changes in environmental factors and human health. The conference covers scientific areas in the field of biodiversity and its conservation, forest ecosystems and biodiversity, global diseases and biodiversity, green energy technologies and biodiversity.

The working languages ​​of the conference are English and Azerbaijani.
