The 4th meeting of the Problem Council on Biological, Agrarian and Medical Sciences of the Coordination Council for Scientific Research of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held in online format.
The meeting was opened by the vice-president of ANAS, chairman of the Problem Council, Academician Irada Huseynova, who informed the council members about the issues on the agenda.
Then the scientific secretary of the Problem Council, Doctor of Biological sciences, Associate Professor Dilzara Agayeva said that 14 works on medicine were discussed for the approval of dissertation topics. Rasim Jafarli, Associate Professor of the Department of Surgical Diseases II of Azerbaijan Medical University, Doctor of Medical sciences, Associate Professor presented dissertation topics on medicine.
The discussions chaired by Academician Irada Huseynova brought together the Deputy Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Department of Biological and Medical Sciences, Head of the I Department of Surgical Diseases of Azerbaijan Medical University, corresponding member of ANAS Nuru Bayramov, Director of the V.Y. Akhundov Scientific-Research Prevention Institute of TABIB, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Adil Allahverdiyev, Head of the Clinical Neurophysiology Laboratory of the Institute of Physiology named after Academician Abdulla Garayev of ANAS, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Ali Allahverdiyev, Head of the Department of Histology, Embryology, Cytology, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Eldar Gasimov, Baku State University Acting Head of the Department of Biophysics and Biochemistry, Doctor of Physical Sciences, Professor Rovshan Khalilov, Head of the Department of Ecobotany and Systematics of the Institute of Genetic Resources, Doctor of Biological Sciences Aydin Asgarov, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology Head Laboratory of Cell Membrane Systems of the Institute of Biology, Head of the Laboratory of Photobioenergetics, Doctor of Biological Sciences Yashar Feyziyev, Head of the Laboratory of Ethnobotany of the Institute of Botany of ANAS, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Sayyara Ibadullayeva and others.
During the meeting, the names of five of the 14 topics were amended, and all the research works were positively evaluated and adopted.
