An event dedicated to Victory Day was held at the Institute of Microbiology of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
First, the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played, and the dear memory of our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of our country was honored with a minute of silence.
The event was opened with an introductory speech by the Director General of the Institute, corresponding member of ANAS, Panah Muradov, who congratulated the staff of the Institute on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of November 8 – Victory Day.
The scientist spoke about the significance of the great Victory achieved in the Patriotic War. He noted that this is one of the most glorious days in the history of our independence. Under the leadership of the victorious Commander-in-Chief, Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan restored its territorial integrity with a victory that entered the world’s military history.
Our Victory has shown the whole world that we are a brave and heroic nation.
In his speech, Panah Muradov emphasized that Azerbaijan is the only country that restored its territorial integrity through its own military strength. During the Patriotic War, special operations unprecedented in world military history were carried out; these tactics and strategies are now being seriously analyzed and studied by international military experts.
P. Muradov said: “It is the duty of every Azerbaijani citizen to protect the lands liberated by the blood of heroes and never forget these moments.” Participants of the event expressed their love and respect for our martyrs, veterans, and army.
After the event, the employees of the Institute visited the graves of our martyrs.
