At the initiative of the Trade Union Committee of the Institute of Microbiology of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, an event was held dedicated to October 7 – the World Day for Decent Work.

Opening the event, General Director of the Institute of Microbiology, corresponding member of ANAS Panah Muradov, welcomed the institute’s employees and spoke in detail about the essence of decent work, the efforts made by our state and trade unions in this field, as well as the importance of establishing the World Day for Decent Work. He also drew attention to the upcoming tasks in this area.

P. Muradov noted that in recent years, important measures have been taken to ensure decent working conditions and the rights of all employees of the Institute of Microbiology, and these measures are already producing tangible results.

Then, Acting Chairwoman of the Trade Union Committee of the Institute, PhD in Biology Vusala Khalilzadeh, informed the participants that the main goal of celebrating the World Day for Decent Work is to create conditions that allow employees to feel the results of the state's social policy in their daily lives and to fully enjoy the benefits of this policy, thereby contributing to their well-being.

At the end of the event, participants shared their ideas and suggestions.
