The presentation ceremony of the "Vegetable Encyclopedia" was held at the Vegetable Research Institute. Panah Muradov, Acting Director of the Institute of Microbiology, is the reviewer of this first encyclopedia on vegetable growing in the history of agrarian science, compiled by the Vegetable Research Institute, was reported to AZERTAC by the Institute of Microbiology.

Speaking at the event, Panah Muradov said that the "Vegetable Encyclopedia" will play an important role in the economic life of our country, as well as in the integration of our science into world science.

The book explains many terms and concepts used in vegetable growing, melon growing, and potato growing, as well as in agriculture. In addition, the encyclopedia was compiled using explanatory encyclopedic dictionaries, Internet materials, sources, covering various fields of science and reference books, textbooks, monographs, and various journal articles on vegetable, melon, and potato growing, and other related fields.

Relying on that vegetable growing is a multifunctional scientific field, the encyclopedia is also included explanations of terms related to biology, breeding and seed production, plant physiology, plant biochemistry, organic and inorganic chemistry, soil science, agrochemistry, cytology, ecogeography, ecology, and other sciences.

This fundamental book is intended for vegetable specialists, employees of agricultural enterprises and organizations, doctoral students, bachelors, master students, farmers, as well as a wide range of readers.
