Six years have passed since the death of the great scientist and public and political figure, Academician Jalal Aliyev, who contributed to the creation of modern areas of biological science and numerous high-yielding varieties in Azerbaijan.
On this occasion, employees of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of ANAS and the Research Institute of Agriculture of the Ministry of Agriculture, representatives of the scientific school of Jalal Aliyev visited his grave in the Alley of Honor, laid wreaths and flowers on his grave and shared warm memories of their teacher.
Vice President of ANAS, General Director of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies, Academician Irada Huseynova spoke about the life, scientific activities, contribution of Academician Jalal Aliyev to Azerbaijani and world science.
The speakers further shared their thoughts on the rich and fruitful work of Academician Jalal Aliyev in the development of Azerbaijani science, his great merits in the training of highly qualified staff in our country, noted that the memory of the great scientist, whose work is highly valued by our people and state, will always live in our hearts.
