February 11 has marked in history as the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. This significant day was established by the UN in 2015 and is celebrated annually in many countries around the world, including Azerbaijan.

525.az reports that prominent women scientists in our country, in addition to contributing to various fields of science, have also trained a number of followers and established a school. It is gratifying that today the number of our intelligent and highly educated girls, who are at the forefront of all spheres of activity, especially in science and education, is growing day by day.
