The international conference on "Heydar Aliyev and the nature of Azerbaijan" dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, jointly organized by the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, has completed its work.
Academician Irada Huseynova, Vice-President of ANAS, who opened the closing ceremony held at the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of AR MSE, provided general information about the results of the conference. She pointed out that the successfully concluded conference is one of the next important events held within the framework of the "Year of Heydar Aliyev" event plan, and expressed her gratitude to everyone who took an active role in its organization, including the moderators of the plenary session and sections.
Academician Irada Huseynova once again emphasized the important role of the Great Leader in the protection of the nature and biodiversity of Azerbaijan, in the development of scientific fields operating in this direction, and highly valued the successful continuation of his political legacy even today.
The speaker brought together the relevant scientific circles and said that the conference was a step forward in terms of both the conclusion of the work done and new perspectives for future research.
In the subsequent discussions, corresponding members of ANAS, Ibrahim Azizov and Panah Muradov, Acting General Director of the Institute of Zoology, Associate Professor, PhD in Agrarian sciences Aladdin Eyvazov, head of the laboratory of the Institute of Dendrology of the AR MSE, PhD in Biology Afiq Gaziyev, a teacher of Baku State University, PhD in Biology Natavan Bakhshaliyeva and others gave a speech and highly evaluated the activity of the conference, the level of reports and discussions. It was expressed with confidence that the ideas and proposals voiced at the event will contribute to determining the directions of activities related to future research and cooperation relations.
Then academician Irada Huseynova's speech was presented to the conference by the chairman of the commission created for the purpose of evaluating the reports made by young scientists and specialists in the posters and sections, Yashar Feyziyev. Stating that the choice was not easy, Yashar Feyziyev announced the results of the evaluation. Certificates were presented to the winners.
Concluding the conference, Vice-President of ANAS, Academician Irada Huseynova pointed out that more than 10 scientists from 4 countries joined the conference, which lasted for 2 days, more than 100 lectures were listened to in parallel sections and 30 posters were displayed, and said that the conference materials will be published.
Finally, Academician Irada Huseynova wished the conference participants success in their scientific activities.
