The training organized by the State Agency for Science and Higher Education and hosted by the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University was held by Saide Sak, a representative of the "Elsevier" Co.
During the training, the employees of the Institute of Microbiology of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan - a researcher of the Laboratory of Biologically Active Substances, Sabina Jafarzadeh and a senior specialist of the International Relations Department Madina Karimli also participated.
In the training, participants were provided with the necessary information on more efficient organization of the use of the world's largest scientific databases "Scopus" and "ScienceDirect", improvement of research skills and formation of research culture.
Topics such as managing author profiles in science metric databases, the process of publishing research works, effective search and analysis methods for successful research, and establishing collaborations in the field of research were discussed in the training.
At the end, the questions of the training participants were responded.
