On September 17, an international scientific-practical conference was held in Guba under the joint organization of the Scientific Research Institute of Horticulture and Tea Production of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Public Legal Entity "Research Institute of Horticulture" on the topic "Ensuring sustainable agricultural production through mitigation and adaptation of the consequences of global climate change".
The conference was attended by scientists and specialists from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Croatia, Russia, Belarus and Ukraine, working in the respective regions.
General Director of the Institute of Microbiology of the MSE RA, corresponding member of ANAS PanaH Muradov, head of the laboratory "Microbiological Biotechnology", Dr., Prof. Konul Bakhshalieva.
In his speech, scientist-microbiologist Panakh Muradov spoke about the importance of the event, the main goal and tasks facing the international conference. The scientist wished success to the participants of the conference.
At the conference, Prof. Kenul Bakhshalieva delivered a lecture on topic "Characteristics of the general and phytopathogenic mycobiota of arid subtropical fruit plants cultivated in some regions of Azerbaijan". Dr., Prof. Elman Iskandar presented his lecture on topic "Attitude of some seed plants to abiotic factors in the context of climate change in Absheron" and PhD, Assoc. Samira Najafova gave a speech online on the topic "Ecologization of adaptive land use in Azerbaijan".
The reports freed the interest of the participants of the conference, and answers were given to various questions on the topics of the reports.
According to the results of the conference, Prof. Konul Bakhshalieva was awarded a certificate.
