The regular meeting of the Academic Council was held at the Institute of Microbiology of the Ministry of Science and Education.
The meeting began with a minute of silence in memory of the head of the laboratory of "Aquatic Microbiology" of the Institute of Microbiology, chairman of the Trade Union committee of the institute, PhD in Biology, Associate Professor Anar Teyyub oglu Huseynov.
The Chairman of the Academic Council, Director General of the Institute, corresponding member of ANAS Panah Muradov informed the members of the council about the issues on the agenda:
The result of admission to doctoral and dissertate programs in 2024;
Current tasks to be solved in 2024.
Head of the Department of Education, Information and Relations, PhD in Biology Vusala Khalilzadeh reported on the admission of one person to the correspondence doctoral program and one person to the dissertate program in 2024, and one person to the full-time doctoral program for the preparation of PhDs.
A discussion was held regarding the work planned for implementation in 2024 on the research topics of the institute, as well as the planned topics of scientific research, and instructions were given for their revision.
The meeting discussed issues of establishing the activities of the institute taking into account new requirements and other issues. The Chairman said that the upcoming work in this direction should be built in accordance with the requirements of the day, and gave relevant instructions.
Following the meeting, proposals of the members of the Academic Council were heard and ways to solve a number of issues were identified.
