An event dedicated to "Victory Day" and "National Flag" Day was held at the Institute of Microbiology of the Ministry of Science and Education.
The institute told AZERTAC that at the event, General director of the scientific institution, Panah Muradov, corresponding member of ANAS, spoke about the historical significance of the victory won in the Patriotic War. He spoke about the heroic path of the glorious Azerbaijan Army led by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, and emphasized the historical importance of restoring the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our country.
P. Muradov, talking about the history of the establishment of the State Flag Day in Azerbaijan, pointed out that the flag is the confirmation of the existence of each nation and the main indicator of the ability to build an independent state.
